Programs for Children
Our pre-school and elementary students are changing so quickly, and we love to see them learn and grow. We have organized faith programming as well as plenty of time for them to have fun and be kids. We love that our children LOVE being at church and many of them consider this to be where they’ve found their best friends.
Children’s Worship Center
Our Children’s Worship Center is a state of the art children’s education space where kids engage in guided lessons following the “Children’s Worship & Wonder” curriculum and Montessori-style open play.
It connects to our outdoor play area, and anytime the weather permits, the kids get to “be kids” outside.
Pathfinders Kids Club (Ages 3 to 7)
During the Sunday School hour and during special events, children are welcome in our Pathfinders Kids Club. Here, Pastor Emily plans and leads the kids in a lesson that leads to open creative play in a variety of stations.
Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF) (3rd Grade to 5th Grade)
This program lays the foundation for our older student programs, Chi-Rho and CYF. The JYF program plans special events for these kids to fellowship and learn together, and introduces them to our programs for older students.
Volunteer to Support our Ministries for Children & Youth!
The process to become a volunteer in these ministries is 3 steps:
Step 1: Watch Training Video
We have regular in-person trainings, but if you are unable to attend you can substitute the in-person time by watching this video:
Step 2: Submit Confirmation Form
We ask that you fill out this form to let us know you watched the video in full.
Step 3: Consent to a Background Check
Please fill out the necessary consent and information so that a background check can be run.
Once these steps are complete, you will receive confirmation from our staff that you are approved as a Childrens & Youth volunteer! Thank you so much for being willing to serve this important ministry of the church!
